1. Answers about a folder find the right passages

   • In a folder of a few documents, one that repeated the words of the question, such as meeting notes, could push all the others aside: the contract or the amendment that answered it were not given to the model, which answered without them.
   • A passage that holds several words of the question is now kept, even far behind the first one, and the answer can cite it as a source.
2. A model installs even behind some proxies

   • Installing a model could show an error when the server closed the connection at the end of the file, as some corporate proxies do: it no longer does.
   • A download that receives nothing for a minute stops, and picks up where it left off when you try again.
   • If the model engine does not start, the screen says so, with its log and a "Try again" button.
3. The chat stays on your Mac, even with an account

   • A Mac signed in to a Twoody account before 0.9 still chatted through that account: it now always chats on the Mac, and the account only connects the iPhone.
   • The account shows once, in the menu at the bottom, and is disconnected from Settings.
   • Since 0.9.0, the account and the iPhone, in private beta, showed for everyone from the second launch: they are hidden again.
   • The sidebar loses "Chat", which duplicated "New conversation"; Code has its own "New session" button.
4. Scanned PDFs are read

   • A scanned PDF, made of images, is read by macOS character recognition, on your Mac: nothing goes out to the internet.
   • In the chat, in Code and in the folders of the Documents screen; only pages without text go through recognition.
   • The model knows which pages come from a scan, and that a figure or a name may be misread there.
5. Twoody for Mac 0.9: the launch version

   • The menu keeps what matters: Chat, Code (beta), Documents, Memories, Model and Settings. Tasks and Notes are set aside.
   • The Twoody account and iPhone pairing move to a "private beta" option in Settings, off on a new installation.
   • The Mac only lends its models to an account if you turn it on.
   • Settings › About: the licences, the privacy policy, the terms of use and "Send feedback".
6. "Twoody Code" is called "Code"

7. Fast, Thinking, Deep

8. A new interface, your documents in the chat, and Code

9. Twoody for Mac 0.7: the first public versions (22–24 September)

   • The app opens on a conversation with a model running on your Mac, with no account.
   • A model installs in one click, runtime included: nothing else to install.
   • The folders you choose are read on the spot, and answers cite their sources.
   • Automatic updates: the app asks you before installing a new version.
   • Private beta: the iPhone app can pair with the Mac.
