Twoody

Platforms

Twoody in private beta on Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android.

Free, with no account on your computer, and its AI model runs there; the iPhone and Android apps use that model. Twoody is in private beta on all five systems: leave your email to join the waitlist.

Private beta

Mac

macOS 13 or later, on an Apple Silicon or an Intel Mac. A model sized for your Mac's memory installs in one click; after that, Twoody works with Wi-Fi off.

Private beta

iPhone and Android

Your phone, powered by your computer: the apps use the model running on it, and let you pick up your conversations. On the iPhone, a voice message is transcribed on the phone and sent as words, and Twoody Code can be driven remotely if you turn it on. They are in private beta, like Twoody on the computer.

Questions about the other platforms

When will Twoody open to everyone?

We give no date we are not sure of. Twoody is in private beta on Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android. The waitlist is the way to know first.

Can I use Twoody today without a Mac?

Yes, in the private beta: Twoody runs on Windows 10 and 11 and on Linux, as it does on a Mac, with the model running on your PC. Leave your email to join the waitlist.

Does the phone run the model itself?

No. The iPhone and Android apps are companions of your computer: they send your questions to the model running on it, so that a phone gets the answers of a much larger model than it could run.

What about a Raspberry Pi or a server?

Since version 0.13.33, the desktop app can welcome into your account, with a code, a computer running Twoody without a screen, such as a Raspberry Pi 5; your other devices can then send it their questions. Installing Twoody on such a server will be published soon: the waitlist will let you know.

What happens to my email address?

It is used to confirm your sign-up, to tell you when Twoody is ready for you, and to send you Twoody's news. With it we keep what your browser tells about itself when you sign up — IP address, country and city, device, system and browser, languages, time zone, screen size, the page you came from and the campaign — and the IP address and browser of your confirmation: they prove your consent and tell us where sign-ups come from. We keep it until you unsubscribe, in one click at any time.
