  1. The twoody command installs models

    Improvement
    · v0.13.125 · Mac
    • In a terminal, twoody pull has Twoody download a model, its progress shown in Settings › Models, and twoody rm removes it. twoody run first installs a model that is not there yet.
    • The command is easier to use: a model is named the way you type it (qwen3.5-9b), and each error says what is wrong and what to do.
  2. A local API for developers

    Feature
    · v0.13.124 · Mac
    • In Settings › “Developers”, Twoody gives the address of an OpenAI-compatible API and keys to create: your programs and tools talk to your computer's models as they would to OpenAI's. It answers only programs on this computer, with a key, and opens only the models, never your memory, your documents or your conversations.
    • “Install the twoody command” adds it to the terminal: twoody run to chat with a model, twoody list to see the installed models, twoody api-key to manage the keys.
  3. A conversation inside a project

    Feature
    · v0.13.123 · Mac
    • On a project's page, “New conversation in this project” opens a conversation that belongs to it: Twoody keeps the project in mind at every message, even when you don't name it, and the tasks and reminders you ask for there are tied to it.
    • The project's name shows above the conversation and takes you back to the project, and the conversation is listed in its “Conversations”. On the iPhone too, where a project's conversations now open with a tap.
  4. A shared computer no longer loses a question

    Fix
    · v0.13.122 · Mac
    • When Twoody restarts on a shared computer (for an update, say) just after it received a question from someone in your household, the question is no longer lost: it is handed back as soon as Twoody is back, and the person only has to wait for the answer.
  5. Your documents read by meaning, in plain sight

    Improvement
    · v0.13.121 · Mac
    • In "Documents", each folder shows how far "Search by meaning" has got, with a bar, and each file says whether it has been read by meaning or is waiting its turn.
    • On a Mac with Apple silicon and 24 GB or more, this reading runs on the graphics chip: about eight times faster. It pauses while Twoody answers you.
    • A project now has a name, a description and tags, in place of the four sizes; tick "Always in mind" for Twoody to take it into account in all your conversations, not only when you mention it.
  6. More accurate answers from your folders

    Improvement
    · v0.13.120 · Mac
    • When your question names a client or a document ("the Dubreuil lease", "the Voltrad briefing"), Twoody now looks in those documents for the passage that answers, even on page 5, instead of stopping at their start, and looks at the rest of the folder too.
    • On sample folders of a law firm, an accountancy and an agency, the right passage reaches Twoody for 75% of questions instead of 46%.
  7. The right model on a PC with integrated graphics

    Fix
    · v0.13.119 · Mac
    • On a PC whose integrated graphics chip keeps part of the memory (32 GB shown as 28 by Windows), Twoody now offers the 9B model, as on any 32 GB computer, instead of the 4B.
  8. Your opinion, even without an account

    Improvement
    · v0.13.118 · Mac
    • Without a Twoody account, your 👍 or 👎 now reaches the Twoody team too, as the diagnostics do: tied only to the random number of this installation of the app, without a name or email address. Before, it stayed on the computer.
  9. Your opinion on the answers

    Feature
    · v0.13.117 · Mac
    • Under each answer, 👍 and 👎, on the computer as on the iPhone. After a 👎, Twoody asks, without insisting, what went wrong: wrong, didn't do what you asked, too long… Your opinion is sent to the Twoody team to improve the answers, with the model's name; never your question or the answer, and nothing of a walled-off project.
    • In a OneDrive or iCloud Drive folder, files that are only online are no longer downloaded without a word to be read: Documents says how many were not read and offers “Download and read them”.
  10. Scanned PDFs read on Windows

    Improvement
    · v0.13.116 · Mac
    • On Windows, Twoody now reads scanned PDFs, as on the Mac: pages without text go through Windows' character recognition, on your PC, in the languages installed on it. A contract signed and then scanned, or a digitized letter, now shows up in search, in answers and in the “Project overview”. Scans already in your folders are read once, after the update.
  11. Project overview

    Feature
    · v0.13.114 · Mac
    • “Project overview”: on a project's page, Twoody reads the documents in its folder and keeps what matters — what the brief asks for, the decisions, where the project stands, the next steps, the open questions. Each point names the document it comes from, in that document's own words; one click opens it. Your computer's model writes it, not an online service. It exports to Word.
    • When a document in the folder changes, Twoody reads only that one again and proposes an update: the lines added, the lines gone. The overview changes only if you apply it.
    • Twoody notices on its own the documents added, changed or removed in your folders: no need to wait for the next launch or to click “Check for changes”, which is still there.
  12. A simpler menu

    Improvement
    · v0.13.113 · Mac
    • The sidebar keeps only the essentials: “New conversation”, search, “Projects” and “Documents”, then your conversations. Models, Capabilities, Memory, People, Devices and Usage are at the top of “Settings”; each page opened from there takes you back in one click. On the iPhone, the menu does the same.
    • In Capabilities, a switch turned on just after the page opened could go back to “off” on screen while it stayed on: it now keeps what you chose.
  13. A warmer assistant

    Improvement
    · v0.13.110 · Mac
    • Twoody answers with more warmth and kindness: to “how are you?”, it answers and asks how you are; when you say you feel down, it listens first; a story, a joke or a poem, it writes it right away. It stays brief for questions and tasks, and still says when it does not know.
    • “Remember that…” while “Memory” is off in “Tools”: Twoody sometimes said “I'll remember that” and kept nothing. It now says nothing was kept, and how to turn “Memory” back on.
  14. Reminders ring at the time you asked

    Fix
    · v0.13.109 · Mac
    • “Remind me on Friday at 10 am” rang two hours late in summer, one in winter: the time asked was read as universal time. Twoody now reads it in your computer's time, for a reminder asked on the computer or from the iPhone, and a task with a date lands on the right day. Reminders made before this version keep the time they had.
  15. Updates arrive on their own again

    Fix
    · v0.13.108 · Mac
    • Twoody looks for updates at every launch and at night, and catches up on the night's look when the computer wakes if it was asleep. Before, a look late in the day skipped the following night's, and a night asleep put it off by hours: some computers never saw versions 0.13.106 and 0.13.107.
    • On a Mac, the helper that lets Apple Intelligence answer stops with Twoody, even when the app is force-quit or crashes; those earlier versions left behind are stopped at launch.
    • “Report this answer” no longer sends a model's name when the conversation had chosen none.
  16. Two answers at once on a shared computer

    Improvement
    · v0.13.107 · Mac
    • When your computer with 24 GB or more is shared with your household or organization, you and the people using it no longer wait behind each other: each sees their first word in under half a second, even during a long answer for the other (before, 22 to 34 seconds of waiting). Each keeps their whole conversation.
    • Adjustable in “Settings” › “Sharing” › “Answers at the same time”: “Automatic” (two at once when the computer answers the people it is shared with, except with a model too large for its memory), “One at a time” or “Two at the same time”. When two answers are written at the same time, each goes slower (55 to 70% of its speed alone) and the model takes about 0.6 GB more memory.
  17. A shared computer that answers at once

    Improvement
    · v0.13.106 · Mac
    • A computer you share with your household or organization now answers in under a second, instead of 30 seconds or more: it no longer reasons silently before answering their questions, and picks the conversation up where it had read it instead of reading it all again.
    • With app 0.2.69, the person's phone wakes the computer as soon as they open the conversation or start typing: the model is ready when the question leaves. This wake-up can neither load another model nor take the computer more than once every 15 seconds.
  18. A quick window to ask from anywhere

    Feature
    · v0.13.105 · Mac
    • A quick window to ask a question from anywhere: a click on Twoody's icon in the menu bar, or ⌥ Space in any app, opens it in the middle of the screen. Type your question, the answer appears below, and “Open in Twoody” continues it in the main window. ⌥ ⇧ Space opens it listening, to ask out loud. On Windows and Linux: Ctrl+Alt+Space, or the icon in the notification area. Change the shortcuts in “Settings” › “General” › “Quick window”.
    • When the web cannot be searched (no connection, a search engine that does not answer), Twoody still answers, without the web, and says so at the top of its answer. Before, the message was not sent.
    • A walled-off project keeps its walls when its folder is renamed or moved outside Twoody, in the Finder or the Explorer: Twoody recognizes it wherever it is, in Twoody Code and for the Agent too. If it can no longer be found while its disk is connected, nothing new is read in your other folders until you have found it again (“Find the folder…” on the project's page).
  19. Sturdier walls around walled-off projects

    Fix
    · v0.13.104 · Mac
    • Security fix: in 0.13.103, the Agent and Twoody Code could get into a walled-off project's folder when that folder was referred to another way. On Windows, it was enough for it to be on a network drive (a NAS mapped as “Z:”, for example) or to be called by its short name; on Mac and Linux, an accepted command could rename the folder that holds it. Twoody now recognizes the same folder however it is written, and attack tests check this on each system.
    • “Refresh”, at the top of every page, really reads again what is shown: models, documents, projects, people, calendar… The “Models” screen now has a single button for it.
    • A conversation continued without a connection joins your encrypted history as soon as the account answers again; before, those exchanges stayed on this computer only.
    • On Mac, Twoody now requires macOS 13.3 or later, the version its engine needs; a Mac still on 13.0, 13.1 or 13.2 keeps the previous version.
    • “Settings” › “Privacy” says what Twoody contacts the way the app does it: on its own (updates, beta diagnostics, your account if you are signed in), or only when you use a feature. Signing in to the account without internet says so plainly, in your language.
  20. Work in your folders, and your people

    Feature
    · v0.13.103 · Mac
    • In the chat, “Work in your folders” (off by default) sorts your invoices by month, renames scans with their date, or drafts a Word document or an Excel table. Twoody first shows you what it will do, file by file, and acts only after your “Do it”; it never deletes or overwrites anything, and “Undo” puts sorted or renamed files back.
    • “People”, next to “Projects”: the people who matter to you, who they are to you and how they are linked (“Nadine's sister”). Twoody spots them in your conversations, in all ten languages, and offers them to you in “To confirm”; when you talk about one of them, it knows who you mean.
    • Walled-off projects (“Projects” › “New project” › “Wall off this project”) now also stay apart from the Agent and Twoody Code: their folders are invisible to them, even inside the general folder that holds them. Twoody Code opens a walled-off project's folder only if you turn on “Allow Twoody Code in this project” on its page.
    • Twoody Code's commands run in a sandbox, macOS's on a Mac and bubblewrap on Linux: they write only in the opened folder and read neither walled-off projects nor Twoody's data. On Windows, or on Linux without bubblewrap, no command runs while a walled-off project exists.
    • A new icon; a green or red dot says whether your other computers answer, in “Devices” and in the list of models; and “Report this answer” in the ⋮ menu under an answer, as on the iPhone.
  21. MLX on the Mac, and 57 models to choose from

    Feature
    · v0.13.102 · Mac
    • A new Models screen: the model in use, the ones installed, and a catalogue of 57 models (Qwen, GLM, DeepSeek, Gemma, Mistral, Llama, Phi…) with each one's memory needed, download size and licence, and the “Fits in this computer’s memory” filter.
    • On a Mac with Apple silicon, Twoody can install MLX (Models › Advanced), about a quarter faster on a recent MacBook Air. MLX models do not read images: Twoody asks you before handing an image to a llama.cpp model.
  22. Walled-off projects, for a client file

    Feature
    · v0.13.101 · Mac
    • In “Projects” › “New project”, the “Wall off this project” box keeps its documents, conversations and notes apart: they are used in this project only, and your other conversations do not see them. Handy for a client file.
    • In a walled-off project, “Remember that…” becomes a note of the project; e-mail, calendar, web and connectors stay off unless you turn them on for the conversation, and only a model on your computer answers.
  23. E-mail drafts said as they are

    Fix
    · v0.13.100 · Mac
    • Twoody no longer says an e-mail draft was saved when it was not: it offers it to you again, or asks for the missing address.
    • When you answer “yes” to a draft offered a second time, Twoody keeps the right address.
    • On Windows, a connector now gets the program folders (PATH) it is given.
  24. Your data encrypted on your computer

    Improvement
    · v0.13.99 · Mac
    • Your conversations, your memories, the index of your documents and your e-mails are now encrypted on your computer, as are the tokens of connectors and mailboxes, with a key kept by the system's keychain (on Linux, when a keyring is available). At first launch, Twoody encrypts your data once and for all, in about a minute per gigabyte, and moves the old unencrypted copy to the Trash.
    • Home no longer says a device was turned on or off when nothing was done: Twoody says why, for instance when Home Assistant refused access.
    • With a cloud model, no web search and no attached PDF is sent: only the text of the conversation goes.
  25. A cloud model, only if it is open to your account

    Improvement
    · v0.13.98 · Mac
    • When your account has access to one, a cloud model is marked in the list and on each conversation, is never picked for you and receives the conversation only: never your documents, your memories or your web searches.
  26. Nothing in clear through the account, and a bigger model

    Improvement
    · v0.13.97 · Mac
    • Nothing you say goes through the Twoody account in clear any more: your computer refuses any request that is not encrypted, and your older conversations are encrypted again into your history.
    • The app's keys and tokens are kept in the system's keychain, the tunnel's key included. On Linux without a key manager, the app tells you how to turn one on instead of keeping them in clear.
    • A bigger model, Qwen3.6 35B-A3B, for computers with 24 GB or more. Switch from one model to another and follow « Loading… », « Preparing… » then « Ready »: the first answer then comes quickly.
  27. Open the files of a shared folder

    Feature
    · v0.13.96 · Mac
    • Shared with me › « Browse »: the files of a folder shared with « Read the files » open or save. They arrive end-to-end encrypted, in checked pieces, and the owner's computer records who looked at what.
    • One « Add a device » in Devices, for a computer as for an iPhone or a browser; « Switch all on » and « Switch all off » in « Tools ».
    • Connectors: an npx or uvx package's version is pinned when added and changes only when you ask; « Always allow » is offered only for tools that only read.
    • Security: your account's token and the keys of exchanges with your household are kept in the system's keychain, and a second question to a shared computer no longer stumbles on a lost key.
  28. A model sized to your computer, and more security

    Improvement
    · v0.13.95 · Mac
    • The model offered depends on your computer: the lighter one on an 8 GB Mac or a PC without a graphics card, the larger one above that. If you pick a model too heavy for it, Twoody warns you; disk space is checked before the download.
    • A connector that runs a program shows you the exact command before it starts, and asks again if it changes. Adding a trusted computer, sharing a folder or changing the model can now only be done from the app on this computer.
    • « Turn on the kitchen and the TV » turns on both, « what's on my desktop? » lists your files, and your settings are saved even if the computer shuts down abruptly.
    • « Write to us » and « Online help » in Settings, and in the Help menu on a Mac.
  29. A more patient first launch, better-addressed e-mails

    Fix
    · v0.13.94 · Mac
    • On first launch, Twoody takes the time to prepare its engine, even on a very busy computer, and shows it: « Preparing the engine… ». If it really does not answer, it tells you what to do.
    • « Tell mum that… », then « yes »: the draft goes to her address, found in your memories, contacts or e-mails; if she has several, Twoody asks you which one. And a draft that could not be saved is no longer announced as saved.
    • With a connector, Twoody fetches the data instead of announcing that it will, in all ten languages.
  30. Twoody understands you in ten languages

    Improvement
    · v0.13.93 · Mac
    • « Turn on the living room light », « switch it off », « remind me tomorrow at 9 », « list the files on my desktop », « what do I have on Friday? » or « tell mum that… » work in German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Korean as in English and French.
    • Your documents in Japanese, Chinese and Korean are found and cited; on a Mac, a scanned PDF is read in the language of the page.
    • Twoody answers in the language of your message, and names the app's screens in the app's language.
  31. Share a folder with your household or your team

    Feature
    · v0.13.92 · Mac
    • In Documents, « Share » on a folder: with someone of your household or organization, or the whole organization, to « Ask questions » or « Read the files », until the date you choose.
    • Your computer stays in charge: it answers only the devices you allow, shows who looked at what, and a share can be removed at any time. Questions and excerpts travel end-to-end encrypted.
    • « Shared with me » lists what others share with you; in « Tools », each shared folder is switched on for the conversation.
    • Owners and admins of an organization see its shared folders, set its rules and can remove a share — without ever seeing the contents.
  32. Twoody in ten languages

    Feature
    · v0.13.91 · Mac
    • The computer app and the iPhone app speak English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Korean: the system's language by default, or the one chosen in Settings › General › « Language ».
    • Twoody also tells that a message is in Dutch or Chinese, and answers in its language.
    • Client « Files » and the « for me / for my work » question are gone: one Twoody, your folders are those of Documents. The conversations of a client file can still be read.
    • twoody.com is also in Dutch.
  33. Connectors and web search from the iPhone

    Feature
    · v0.13.90 · Mac
    • From the iPhone, your connectors (J-Way, Notion…) work as on the Mac: the consent request shows on the phone.
    • « Web search » from the iPhone: your computer searches for it, with the engine in its Settings.
    • Each connector has its logo; the « Tools » button wears the Capabilities icon.
    • iPhone: the « Tools » sheet no longer shows the chat through it, and Code lists the conversations of all your projects.
  34. All your folders, from the chat

    Improvement
    · v0.13.89 · Mac
    • The chat browses any granted folder, subfolders included: « what is in Documents/Invoices? », « the 5 largest files on my Desktop ».
    • « There, done » or « I said on the Desktop » pick up your request instead of starting over.
    • One Twoody: the Capabilities menu is the same for everyone; the first launch only offers first what fits your use.
    • iPhone: the « Tools » button with your computer's connectors, and Capabilities that shows at once.
  35. 63 connectors, and Google Analytics

    Feature
    · v0.13.88 · Mac
    • Connectors: 63 suggested services (Stripe, Sentry, Figma, Supabase, Airtable, Dropbox…), with a search and categories. One click on « Add », then sign in in your browser.
    • Google Analytics and Search Console: « Sign in with Google » in Connectors, read only. Ask « how many visitors this week? » or « which Google searches do I show up for? ».
  36. Clearer « Tools »

    Improvement
    · v0.13.87 · Mac
    • « Tools » gathers Documents and its folders, the capabilities and each connector, with a switch, what is worth knowing (« 3/58 tools on », « 7 devices ») and an arrow to manage it. The menu opens where there is room.
    • « There, it's on, can you now? » picks up the question before: the Desktop's files are listed once Documents is on.
  37. One « Tools » button

    Improvement
    · v0.13.86 · Mac
    • Under the message, Memory, Contacts, Calendar, E-mails, Bank, Home, Web and Connectors are gathered in « Tools », each with its switch. The button says how many are used; « Web » shows beside it while it is on.
  38. Home: « turn it off » is enough

    Improvement
    · v0.13.85 · Mac
    • After « turn on the living-room bookcase », you can say « turn it off », « set it to 30 % », « and the garland too » or « put it back »: Twoody does it on the device you were talking about.
  39. Home: Twoody says why

    Improvement
    · v0.13.84 · Mac
    • « Turn off the living-room light » when Home is left out by its icon, switched off, or Home Assistant does not answer: Twoody says why nothing was done and what to do.
    • A red dot on the chat's Home icon when Home Assistant does not answer or refuses the token.
  40. A draft when it is clear, a question otherwise

    Improvement
    · v0.13.83 · Mac
    • E-mails: « Tell mum I'm coming on Sunday » — Twoody asks whether to draft an e-mail instead of guessing. A draft it announces is saved, never sent.
    • Small images (labels, receipts, notifications) are read more accurately.
  41. Several mailboxes

    Feature
    · v0.13.82 · Mac
    • E-mails: link several mailboxes. The chat searches them all, says which mailbox each message is in, and writes a draft in the right one — or asks which.
    • Gmail: the first read of a mailbox follows the pace Google allows and resumes where it stopped.
    • From the iPhone, a model chosen on the computer loads with its progress shown, and Twoody says when a model app does not answer.
  42. Export and share an answer

    Feature
    · v0.13.81 · Mac
    • Under each answer, the ⋮ menu: details, copy with formatting, export to Word, Excel, PDF or Markdown, and share (Messages, Mail, AirDrop… on Mac; by e-mail on Windows and Linux).
    • Options switched off under the message stay off from one conversation to the next.
    • Windows: the installer and Twoody open in front.
  43. A chat ready sooner, folders from the iPhone

    Improvement
    · v0.13.80 · Mac
    • The chat's model and options show as soon as it opens, and the model picker opens without waiting.
    • Twoody Code from the iPhone: if you allow it on the computer, pick or create the folder of a new session.
    • E-mails: when Gmail refuses to connect, Twoody says why (app password, IMAP turned off by the organisation…).
  44. Fixes

    Fix
    · v0.13.79 · Mac
    • Reliability fixes in the computer app, on Mac, Windows and Linux.
  45. Outlook and Microsoft 365: your e-mails without IMAP

    Improvement
    · v0.13.78 · Mac
    • E-mails: an Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 mailbox is still linked with « Sign in with Microsoft », but no longer needs IMAP. Nothing to switch on at Outlook.com, and it works when your organisation has turned IMAP off.
    • A Microsoft account without an Outlook mailbox is said plainly: link your provider's mailbox instead.
    • One Microsoft account for e-mails, calendar and contacts. A mailbox linked with 0.13.76 offers « Sign in to Microsoft again » to move to the new way.
  46. Outlook calendar and contacts, on Windows and Linux too

    Feature
    · v0.13.77 · Mac
    • Agenda and Contacts: link your Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account with « Sign in with Microsoft ». Twoody keeps a copy on the computer, updated every 15 minutes, and the chat answers « what do I have tomorrow? » from it.
    • On Windows and Linux, Agenda and Contacts finally have a source: your Microsoft account. On the Mac, Outlook comes on top of the Mac's Calendar and Contacts.
    • The Mac's all-day events show on their own day in the Agenda (they appeared the day before).
  47. Outlook and Microsoft 365 in E-mails

    Feature
    · v0.13.76 · Mac
    • E-mails: an Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 mailbox is linked with « Sign in with Microsoft ». Microsoft's page opens in your browser, your password stays with Microsoft, and only the permission to access the mailbox is kept on the computer.
    • If Microsoft withdraws that permission, lets it expire or waits for your organisation's approval, the E-mails page says so and offers to sign in again.
  48. Walled-off client files, e-mails, bank, Excel and PowerPoint

    Feature
    · v0.13.75 · Mac
    • At first launch, Twoody asks whether it is for you or for your work (Twoody Pro), alone or as a team, and what it should do.
    • Client files (Twoody Pro): one file per client or matter, with the folder of its documents on the computer, its conversations, its deadlines and its memory. Nothing of a file shows in another one or in your other conversations; its conversations stay on the computer, are never learned into your memory, and only a model of your computers answers in them. A file is archived and exported in one click.
    • E-mails: your mailbox linked over IMAP with an app password kept on the computer; Twoody finds and reads your e-mails in the chat, and drafts a reply once you allow it, never sending anything.
    • Bank: import your bank's statements (CSV, OFX or QIF); Twoody answers « how much did I spend on groceries this month? ».
    • Excel and PowerPoint are read like the other documents, with the sheet and rows, or the slide, cited; under each answer, « Word » and, when it holds a table, « Excel » save it wherever you like.
    • With a connector, the first word comes as quickly as with the others.
  49. The first word sooner, a clearer message bar

    Fix
    · v0.13.73 · Mac
    • After a pause of more than half an hour, the start of a new conversation is read again as soon as you start typing: the answer no longer starts from scratch.
    • Under the message, left to right: the paperclip, the model, then the options, Memory, Documents, Contacts, Agenda, Home, each as an icon.
    • Documents turns on or off with a click; the folders are chosen with a right click.
  50. Memory in Capabilities, and a menu in your order

    Improvement
    · v0.13.72 · Mac
    • Memory becomes a capability: on as before, it has its page, its place in the menu and its icon under the message, to leave it out of a message.
    • Capabilities are listed alphabetically, and their pages are arranged in the menu by dragging them.
  51. Your capabilities in the menu and under the message

    Feature
    · v0.13.71 · Mac
    • A capability that is on offers “Show … in the menu” and “Show … in the chat”, ticked at first: Home, Contacts, Agenda or Connectors then have their page in the sidebar, and Home switches your lights there.
    • Under the message, one icon per capability: a click leaves it out of the next messages. Documents, web search and the reasoning effort now show only their icon.
    • The model shows shorter: “Qwen3.5 9B · on this Mac”, or “Qwen3.5 9B via Ollama · on this Mac” when another app runs it.
  52. Your documents read as soon as you add a folder

    Improvement
    · v0.13.70 · Mac
    • Adding a folder in Documents turns Documents on in Capabilities: a new conversation on the computer reads your documents with nothing more to set. The message's Documents menu and Capabilities can still turn them off.
    • An answer that starts with a list, a table or code shows at once, instead of waiting for its first sentence to end.
    • “My CVs” has your documents read, like “my CV”.
  53. Conversation titles that say what it is about

    Feature
    · v0.13.69 · Mac
    • After the first answer, your computer's model gives the conversation a title of a few words, in its language: “3-day Lisbon trip in May with kids” rather than the start of the question.
    • The title comes about a second after the answer, never delaying it; it is written on the computer, and reaches your other devices encrypted, like the rest of the conversation.
  54. Cleaner answers, in your language

    Fix
    · v0.13.68 · Mac
    • When the model looks into your documents, the sentence announcing it no longer shows before the answer.
    • A question in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Japanese about a contract, an invoice or a lease has your documents read straight away.
    • A question in Japanese or Korean gets its answer in that language, and a memory learned from a conversation is written in that conversation's language.
  55. An answer in the language of the question

    Fix
    · v0.13.67 · Mac
    • A question in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or German gets its answer in that language, even when the app and your memories are in French or English.
    • The Agent's card, in Capabilities, says what it does: finding, comparing, sorting and writing new files, without deleting or changing anything.
  56. Illustrated details and “Always allow”

    Feature
    · v0.13.66 · Mac
    • Under each answer, ⋮ shows in tiles and coloured bars the total time, the first word, the speed, where the time went, what the prompt is made of and the share served from the cache; for the whole conversation, a chart of the tokens answer by answer.
    • Connectors: “Always allow” a tool, from the chat's request or in “Choose the tools”; its next calls are no longer asked.
    • The app's database takes the online account's format, for the offers to come; a copy of the old one is kept beside it before the update.
  57. Connectors: your services in the chat (beta)

    Feature
    · v0.13.65 · Mac
    • Capabilities › Connectors: add an MCP server — a command run on the computer, an https address, or a pasted Claude Desktop configuration — or pick one from the list (Asana, Atlassian, Canva, GitHub, Hugging Face, J-Way, Linear, Notion, PayPal, Stripe).
    • A service that asks you to sign in opens in your browser, on its own page; the tokens stay on your computer.
    • “Choose the tools”: search, tick those the chat sees, with what each adds to every message; a connector with many tools starts with none ticked.
    • Before each call of a tool, the chat shows you what it will give it and waits for your “Allow”.
    • Under each answer and for the conversation, “Details” shows what the model received: instructions, memory, documents, tools and their calls, cached tokens, time.
  58. iPhone photos, voice and faster answers

    Improvement
    · v0.13.60 · Mac
    • Photos sent from the iPhone are seen by the model (HEIC converted, photos reduced).
    • A question said aloud is stored only once.
    • The model reads the start of conversations ahead after a restart, when the day changes and as soon as you speak or type: the answer starts sooner.
  59. How important a memory is, how big a project is

    Feature
    · v0.13.58 · Mac
    • Each memory has an importance: Low, Normal, Important or Essential; the essential ones come first in what the model knows about you.
    • Each project has a size: small, medium, large or critical; a critical project comes first in what every conversation knows.
    • The learning also suggests the medium and critical projects it notices.
  60. The Mac's dictation, and a memory that knows who you are

    Improvement
    · v0.13.55 · Mac
    • Dictation goes first through macOS speech recognition, on the device; whisper.cpp takes over when needed, and guesses the language.
    • A recording bar: cancel, duration, and the send button that stops and sends.
    • Memory knows first who you are; “what do you know about me?” answers with what it keeps.
    • An attached image stays seen at the next questions.
  61. Capabilities, and your home with Home Assistant

    Feature
    · v0.13.51 · Mac
    • A Capabilities screen gathers all Twoody can do for you — Documents, Contacts, Calendar, web search, dictation, Agent —, each off at first and with its own page.
    • Home: link your Home Assistant (address and token), and say “turn on the living room light” in the chat; under the answer, Twoody says what it did.
    • Updates are looked for at night, around 3 am, and at launch.
  62. No account from the first launch, more models, images

    Feature
    · v0.13.49 · Mac
    • At first launch, the app offers a model, then the chat: no account screen, and without an account the app connects to nothing on its own apart from its updates.
    • A model catalogue: Qwen3.5 recommended, and Gemma 4, Ministral 3, Qwen3 14B, gpt-oss and DeepSeek; the download goes on from one page to the next.
    • Attach an image with the paperclip: a model that sees reads it.
  63. A memory that learns, projects and reminders

    Feature
    · v0.13.47 · Mac
    • Twoody reads a conversation again once it is over and keeps what matters; what it is unsure of waits for your consent in “To confirm”. Under the answer, it says what it kept.
    • Projects: those you talk about are noticed and suggested, with their tasks and reminders; a card of the project comes with the messages about it.
    • “Remind me…” creates a reminder, which rings on the Mac, or a task (“Reminder created · Undo”).
    • Documents are read only when a message needs them, and the start of a new conversation is read ahead: the answer starts sooner.
    • A Diagnostic screen shows what happened in each answer, on the computer.
  64. The Twoody network: your trusted computers

    Feature
    · v0.13.39 · Mac
    • “Trust this computer” (Devices): your trusted computers share history, memories and documents, encrypted end to end, and a question searches the documents of all of them.
    • Adding a computer and trusting it happen at once, with a security code to compare.
    • Browse the folders and files of each computer, from Documents or Devices; a question about files finds the answer in the folder itself (Spotlight on the Mac).
    • An update installs in one click, and the app restarts by itself.
  65. Several computers in one account, and Chat | Code

    Feature
    · v0.13.33 · Mac
    • Another computer running Twoody, such as a Raspberry Pi 5 or a headless server, joins your account with a code: it shows the code, you type it in Devices › « Add a computer », and you check its name and fingerprint before adding it. Installing Twoody on a headless server will be published soon.
    • In the model picker, « Automatic » sends each question to the computer that will answer fastest, from each one's measured speed, the model it has loaded already and what it is already doing. A conversation stays on the same computer unless another one is clearly better, and under the answer, Twoody says which one answered.
    • By default, another computer receives only the conversation, without your memories, your personal data or your documents. Devices › « Trust it with my memories and documents » allows it, computer by computer.
    • Between your computers, questions and answers are encrypted end to end, on your network as through the account's relay.
    • Chat and Code each have their icon at the top of the sidebar (⌘1, ⌘2).
    • In a long conversation, in the chat as in Twoody Code, the answer starts sooner: the start of the conversation, already read by the model, is kept in a cache instead of being read again at each message.
  66. Usage and performance, Code's Terminal, Contacts and Calendar

    Feature
    · v0.13.32 · Mac
    • A Usage screen: the tokens read and written per day, week, month or year, the share read from the cache, the models' speed and the computer's load, in charts, with a CSV export. These figures are counted on the computer and sent nowhere.
    • Twoody Code keeps a server or a watcher running in the background; a Terminal panel shows what runs, live, the commands it ran, and stops a process in one click, on the computer as from the iPhone.
    • From the iPhone, a Code session can also apply its file changes without asking; commands still wait for your approval.
    • Documents: « Add quickly » Downloads, Desktop, Documents, or the folder iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box or OneDrive keep on the computer — and even your whole home folder, read-only.
    • Contacts and Calendar, on the Mac: if you turn them on and macOS lets it, the chat finds the card of a person you name, or your appointments. They are read on the Mac, never changed, and only used when a model of this computer answers.
    • A question about a document attached to the message finds its answer in that document.
    • Settings are arranged in sections.
  67. Import what other assistants know about you

    Feature
    · v0.13.28 · Mac
    • Memories › Import: Twoody gives you a question to ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot; paste their answer, and each fact becomes a memory on your computer.
    • Each memory says where it comes from — added by you, learned in conversation or imported —, and several can be deleted at once.
    • Twoody Code can be driven from a paired iPhone, if you turn it on: it is off by default.
  68. Devices, household and organizations, and a Twoody that remembers

    Feature
    · v0.13.27 · Mac
    • Devices, in the sidebar: this computer, the paired iPhone, the encrypted history and their usage.
    • Under each answer, what it cost in tokens, read and written.
    • Settings › Household and organizations: invite a person with a link you pass on yourself. Being part of it gives them nothing of your data; it only lets you share a computer with them, if you choose to.
    • Twoody remembers what you ask it to, and the lasting facts said in passing; you see these memories and you delete them.
    • The sidebar is resized by its edge.
  69. One code for the iPhone, and the model ready sooner

    Improvement
    · v0.13.23–0.13.26 · Mac
    • The model starts as soon as the app opens, and says so, instead of waiting for the first question.
    • One code pairs the iPhone and opens your encrypted history to it.
    • On a Mac that has Apple Intelligence, Apple's model answers until a model is installed; after that, the installed model stays the default.
    • At the top of the sidebar: Twoody and Twoody Code; the Agent becomes a folder icon in the chat.
  70. A history encrypted end to end, and « Share this Mac »

    Feature
    · v0.13.13–0.13.21 · Mac
    • The conversations kept on your account are encrypted end to end (beta): the key stays on your devices, and the Twoody account never sees it. Since 0.13.20, this encrypted history sets itself up.
    • « Share this Mac »: a person of your household can ask their questions to your Mac's model. What they send it is encrypted end to end, and nothing reaches it in clear.
    • A phone asking to reach your computer only gets in with your approval, given on the computer; the keys of the encrypted history only go to approved devices, through signed approvals.
    • The iPhone talks to the computer in sealed exchanges, even on your network.
    • 0.13.19 is the first Windows version signed by Osmove.
  71. The Agent in the chat, and the graphics card on Windows

    Feature
    · v0.13.2–0.13.12 · Mac
    • Each version ships for Mac, Windows and Linux. On Windows, the model runs on the graphics card through Vulkan when it can, otherwise on the processor.
    • The Agent opens from the chat, on a folder, as a mode of the conversation.
    • Each conversation chooses the documents it can reach.
    • A Code session too long for the model is compacted instead of stopping.
    • The iPhone app (private beta) browses your computer's documents.
  72. Delete your account from the app

    Improvement
    · v0.13.1 · Mac
    • Settings › Account › « Delete my account… »: the online Twoody account is closed at once, and what it keeps on our servers — conversations kept on the account, memories, files — is erased within minutes. Your private conversations and your documents stay on this Mac.
    • The model's reasoning, under « Thought for … », is laid out like the answer: lists and bold, no longer raw text.
  73. Qwen3.5 in one click, converted by Osmove, and a newer engine

    Feature
    · v0.13.0 · Mac
    • The models to install in one click move to Qwen3.5, Qwen's next generation: 4B from 8 GB of memory, 9B from 16 GB.
    • These files are converted by Osmove from the weights Qwen publishes, with the engine the app ships, and published on huggingface.co/twoody with their SHA-256: anyone can make them again, byte for byte, and compare.
    • Installing a model from the Model screen selects it at once.
    • The engine moves to llama.cpp 0.5.0: a little faster, and it reads the newest models.
    • An answer of the Agent or of Code is no longer lost when the model leaves it in its reasoning.
    • Qwen3 models already installed keep working.
  74. Your conversations on your account, or private to this Mac

    Feature
    · v0.12.1 · Mac
    • On first launch, Twoody welcomes you: create a Twoody account, sign in to one, or carry on without an account.
    • Signed in, you choose where your new conversations go: on your account, to find them on your other devices signed in to it, with this Mac answering them with its own models; or private, never leaving this Mac. The choice can be changed in Settings › Conversations.
    • A private conversation opens at any time with the hat-and-glasses icon, or ⇧⌘N; the history marks it with the same icon.
    • The Twoody account is free and open to all: it uses the models of your own computers only, never a cloud model.
  75. The app is called Twoody

    Improvement
    · v0.11.5 · Mac
    • The app and its files are now called Twoody: Twoody.app, Twoody-0.11.5-arm64.dmg. The Mac's menu says « Quit Twoody », no longer the app's internal name.
    • An existing installation updates without losing anything: conversations, settings and models stay where they are. If it keeps its old name, « Twoody Desktop.app », you can rename it in the Finder, with the app closed.
  76. Voice messages, transcribed on this Mac

    Feature
    · v0.11.4 · Mac
    • The chat's microphone transcribes your voice on this Mac, with whisper.cpp, which ships with the app: your voice messages do not leave this Mac.
    • Its model (Whisper large-v3 turbo, 574 MB on an Apple silicon Mac) is downloaded on the first press of the microphone, from huggingface.co, then checked and readied once and for all.
    • Your words show as soon as they are transcribed; a silent recording is not sent.
    • The Model screen no longer offers to install a model LM Studio, Ollama or mlx-lm already runs: it says « Already available ».
  77. A tidier sidebar

    Improvement
    · v0.11.3 · Mac
    • The search field opens above « New conversation », with the magnifier, ⌘K or ⌘F.
    • No more ready-made suggestions on the welcome screen of the chat, the Agent and Code.
    • The account no longer comes back in the bottom menu: it shows under your name, and its settings are in Settings.
  78. A magnifier to search, everywhere

    Improvement
    · v0.11.2 · Mac
    • Search becomes a magnifier at the top of the sidebar, in the chat, Code and the Agent: it filters the open section's conversations, sessions or tasks. ⌘K opens it where you are.
    • A Mac connected to a Twoody account (private beta) shows that account at the bottom of the sidebar, with its name and e-mail.
    • A single first name gives a single initial, and the sentence under the account is gone.
  79. The Agent: hand over a task on a folder

    Feature
    · v0.11.1 · Mac
    • The Agent (beta) works in a folder of documents, with the model on your Mac: it finds what you are looking for in PDFs, Word files and scans, compares, sorts files into subfolders and drafts Word documents.
    • By default, it asks before it creates or moves a file. It deletes nothing and never rewrites an existing file; “Go back here” puts moved files back and sends what it created to the Trash.
    • It cites its sources, the file and the page. It can be wrong: check its answers against the documents.
  80. Answers about a folder find the right passages

    Fix
    · v0.10.3 · Mac
    • In a folder of a few documents, one that repeated the words of the question, such as meeting notes, could push all the others aside: the contract or the amendment that answered it were not given to the model, which answered without them.
    • A passage that holds several words of the question is now kept, even far behind the first one, and the answer can cite it as a source.
  81. A model installs even behind some proxies

    Fix
    · v0.10.2 · Mac
    • Installing a model could show an error when the server closed the connection at the end of the file, as some corporate proxies do: it no longer does.
    • A download that receives nothing for a minute stops, and picks up where it left off when you try again.
    • If the model engine does not start, the screen says so, with its log and a "Try again" button.
  82. The chat stays on your Mac, even with an account

    Fix
    · v0.10.1 · Mac
    • A Mac signed in to a Twoody account before 0.9 still chatted through that account: it now always chats on the Mac, and the account only connects the iPhone.
    • The account shows once, in the menu at the bottom, and is disconnected from Settings.
    • Since 0.9.0, the account and the iPhone, in private beta, showed for everyone from the second launch: they are hidden again.
    • The sidebar loses "Chat", which duplicated "New conversation"; Code has its own "New session" button.
  83. Scanned PDFs are read

    Feature
    · v0.10.0 · Mac
    • A scanned PDF, made of images, is read by macOS character recognition, on your Mac: nothing goes out to the internet.
    • In the chat, in Code and in the folders of the Documents screen; only pages without text go through recognition.
    • The model knows which pages come from a scan, and that a figure or a name may be misread there.
  84. Twoody for Mac 0.9: the launch version

    Feature
    · v0.9.0 · Mac
    • The menu keeps what matters: Chat, Code (beta), Documents, Memories, Model and Settings. Tasks and Notes are set aside.
    • The Twoody account and iPhone pairing move to a "private beta" option in Settings, off on a new installation.
    • The Mac only lends its models to an account if you turn it on.
    • Settings › About: the licences, the privacy policy, the terms of use and "Send feedback".
  85. "Twoody Code" is called "Code"

    Improvement
    · v0.8.2 · Mac
    • The coding agent is now called Code, in the menu and throughout the app.
  86. Fast, Thinking, Deep

    Feature
    · v0.8.1 · Mac
    • An effort picker on models that can reason: Fast, Thinking or Deep.
    • The reasoning is shown, and "Answer now" gives the answer without waiting for it to finish.
  87. A new interface, your documents in the chat, and Code

    Feature
    · v0.8.0 · Mac
    • A new interface, in the spirit of ChatGPT and Claude.
    • Your documents (PDF, Word…) can be attached to a chat message.
    • Optional web search, off by default.
    • A context gauge, and long conversations are compacted to carry on.
    • Code: a coding agent that works on your Mac.
  88. Twoody for Mac 0.7: the first public versions (22–24 September)

    Feature
    · v0.7.x · Mac
    • The app opens on a conversation with a model running on your Mac, with no account.
    • A model installs in one click, runtime included: nothing else to install.
    • The folders you choose are read on the spot, and answers cite their sources.
    • Automatic updates: the app asks you before installing a new version.
    • Private beta: the iPhone app can pair with the Mac.

Coming next

What is planned, without dates: a direction, not a schedule.

  • The iPhone and Android apps, companions to the computer

Reach what your computer does from your phone: conversations, voice, documents, models. They are in private beta today.

  • Windows and Linux

Twoody on a PC. The Windows and Linux versions are in private beta.

  • Twoody on a server, without a screen

Install Twoody on a Raspberry Pi 5 or a server, without the desktop app, so that it joins your account with a code and answers your other devices.

  • More document formats

The old .xls and .ppt, Numbers and Keynote, beyond the PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF, HTML, plain text, Markdown and CSV files read today.

The iPhone app, in private beta

It is not in the App Store: its versions are for the people invited to the beta.

  1. iPhone app (private beta): shared computers answer

    Fix
    · v0.2.69 · iPhone · private beta
    • Members of your household or organization can again ask the computer you share with them: their phone could not register its encryption keys.
    • Under the input field, the app says which computer and model will answer, or “No computer available” with what to do, instead of “Default model”.
    • The phone wakes the shared computer as soon as you open the conversation or start typing, so the answer comes in under a second.
    • A walled-off project's page says when its folder was moved or can no longer be found.
  2. iPhone app (private beta): the state of your computers, and your people

    Feature
    · v0.2.67 · iPhone · private beta
    • Each computer has its dot: “Checking…” while the app asks it, green when it answers, red when it does not, with since when and why. Before sending a question to a computer that does not answer, the app asks whether to go on with another one, “Send anyway” or cancel; your question stays typed.
    • In a walled-off project, the answer appears word by word, still exchanged encrypted with the computer that keeps the project.
    • “Your people”, in “Settings”: the people your computer knows, and who they are to you, which you change with a tap.
    • When “Work in your folders” is on on your computer, its proposal (sort, rename, draft a document) shows on the iPhone, file by file, and nothing is done before your “Do it”.
    • Your own mlx-lm, LM Studio or Ollama server is no longer offered as a model when it does not answer.
  3. iPhone app (private beta): the models installed on your Mac

    Improvement
    · v0.2.66 · iPhone · private beta
    • The list of models shows those installed on your computer, with each one's memory, and says where to find the catalogue.
    • When your computer answers with an MLX model, the app asks you before sending a photo, and tells you which model will read it.
  4. iPhone app (private beta): walled-off projects and reporting an answer

    Feature
    · v0.2.65 · iPhone · private beta
    • Your walled-off projects open from the iPhone, marked “Walled off”, with their own conversation, exchanged encrypted with the computer that keeps them.
    • The ⋮ button next to an answer offers “Report this answer”: you say what is wrong, and the answer's text is joined only if you tick it.
  5. iPhone app (private beta): a cloud model, only if it is open to your account

    Improvement
    · v0.2.64 · iPhone · private beta
    • When your account has access to one, a cloud model is marked and receives the conversation only: never your documents, your memories or your photos.
  6. iPhone app (private beta): everything encrypted on the phone

    Improvement
    · v0.2.63 · iPhone · private beta
    • Your conversations, the menu's list and your profile are encrypted on the iPhone, with a key kept in its keychain; an iPhone linked to no computer no longer sends anything in clear to the account.
    • In the list of models, switch from one of your computer's models to another and follow its loading until it is ready; a model that does not answer finally shows.
  7. iPhone app (private beta): shared folders, e-mails and « Write to us »

    Feature
    · v0.2.62 · iPhone · private beta
    • Documents › « Shared folders »: what is shared with you, with a question about that folder or its files to open, and your own shares, which you can stop.
    • « Tools »: your computer's e-mails, « Switch all on » and « Switch all off », and the reason when your computer does not yet recognise this iPhone, which then renews its access at once.
    • Devices › « Add a device »: a computer, another iPhone or a browser, in one place; « Write to us » and « Online help » in Settings › Help.
  8. iPhone app (private beta): a clearer message bar

    Improvement
    · v0.2.54 · iPhone · private beta
    • Under the message: “+”, the model, then the options Memory, Documents, Contacts, Agenda and Home; the model's name stays readable in full.
    • Documents turns on or off with a tap; the folders are chosen with a long press.
  9. iPhone app (private beta): your capabilities in the menu and under the message

    Feature
    · v0.2.53 · iPhone · private beta
    • As on the computer: “Show … in the menu” and “… in the chat” for each capability, Memory among them, in alphabetical order, and a menu to arrange.
    • Under the message, one icon per capability to leave it out; the reasoning effort shows only its icon.
  10. iPhone app (private beta): the computer's documents by default

    Improvement
    · v0.2.52 · iPhone · private beta
    • A new conversation reads your computer's documents as soon as a folder was added there; the Documents button can still turn them off.
  11. iPhone app (private beta): titles written by the computer

    Improvement
    · v0.2.51 · iPhone · private beta
    • The title your computer's model writes after the first answer shows in the conversation list, a few seconds later.
  12. iPhone app (private beta): tidier screens

    Improvement
    · v0.2.50 · iPhone · private beta
    • A cited document opens and is shared under its real name.
    • Documents: one search, readable folders, and a clearer choice of the chat's documents.
    • Conversations with the same title are told apart by their date, and the keyboard no longer opens at launch.
    • Language picker, model sizes, error messages and English texts reviewed.
  13. iPhone app (private beta): Capabilities, photos and Devices

    Feature
    · v0.2.49 · iPhone · private beta
    • A Capabilities screen, as on the computer: Documents, Contacts, Calendar, Home, web search, and the connectors turned on on the computer.
    • A photo goes to the computer's model as an image, not only its text, with a preview in the field and in the question.
    • Devices: a compact card per computer, its trust and the rest in its details.
    • A question said aloud no longer shows twice.
  14. iPhone app (private beta): projects, “To confirm” and files

    Feature
