For professionals
An AI assistant for files that must not leave the office.
With an online assistant, every document you give it goes through another company's servers. With Twoody, it is read on your computer, Mac, Windows or Linux, by a model installed there, and a private conversation is kept on that computer only.

Why it fits professional secrecy
No online AI provider
The model runs on your computer: it is the one that reads your clients' documents, not an online AI service such as those of OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.
No account needed
Twoody works without an account, and the account is optional. What leaves the computer depending on what you turn on is listed on the security page; the privacy policy details everything.
Works on a closed network
Once the model is installed, Twoody works without internet: on a network with no outside access, or on the move.
Answers you can check
Twoody cites its sources, numbered, down to the page: you check each statement before relying on it.
What leaves the computer, and how to check it
What Twoody is not
A language model can be wrong, even when it cites its sources, and a model that runs on a personal computer is smaller than the large online models. Twoody helps you work; it does not replace your judgement, and its answers must be checked before a professional decision.
Questions from professionals
Can I use it for my clients' files?
Yes: Twoody is free for professional use, with no account needed. Your clients' documents are read on your computer, by the model installed on it; keep their conversations private: they are kept on that computer only.
Does Twoody read all my files?
No: only the files you attach to a message and the folders you choose. You can remove a folder at any time.
Can I keep each client's files apart?
Yes, with a walled-off project: in Projects › “New project”, tick “Wall off this project” and give it that client's folder. Its documents, conversations and notes serve only in that project: not in your other conversations, another project, your memory or your encrypted history. Only a model of your computer, or of one of your trusted computers, answers in it.
Where are the conversations kept?
In Twoody's data folder on your computer, in your user account. Twoody encrypts them, with a key kept by the system's keychain (on Linux, when a keyring is available). Your documents are not encrypted by Twoody: disk encryption (FileVault, BitLocker, LUKS) protects them, if it is on. The conversations you choose to keep on your optional account are there too, encrypted end to end; for client files, prefer a walled-off project or a private conversation.
Can the whole office use it?
Each person installs Twoody on their own computer: it is free and needs no account. Private conversations stay on each computer, and those kept on an account on each person's own. With an organization on the Twoody account, a member can, if they choose to, share a computer's model or a folder of their Documents with colleagues; being part of it gives access to no conversation and no document.
Try Twoody before it opens to everyone.
The private beta is free, on Mac, Windows and Linux, and on iPhone and Android with Twoody on your computer. Leave your email to ask for an invitation: we will write to you when it is ready for you.
