Is GPT4All still updated?
Its latest version, 3.10.0, was published in February 2025, and none has followed by September 2026, according to its GitHub page.
Do both answer questions about my documents?
Yes. GPT4All's LocalDocs indexes folders on your computer and names the files it used; its documentation says nothing of scans. Twoody reads whole folders, scans included, and cites file and page.
Can I speak my questions?
In Twoody, yes: voice messages are transcribed on the Mac. We found no voice input in GPT4All.
